Okay, so here's the deal...I had a doctor's appointment this morning and I switched birth control from the depo shot to the mini pill (while breastfeeding). Truthfully, I'm excited because I should...get it should...be able to lose more weight now! The dreaded depo shot likes to make you gain weight! Luckily, I was able to maintain...technically lose like 3lbs...while I was on it! But 3lbs in 3 months...that's horrible odds! So now Pill here I come...and you better work for me or I'm going to just be abstinent! Sorry Love, but I can't handle the weight anymore and we're not ready for another baby!
On that note, I weighed in at the doctor's office and I'm at 190...still...I have like a week and a half that I wanted to be at 185...figures...I'm not going to make it! I think I'll re-evaluate my goals now...give myself some more time...we'll see! Wish I could have made 25 lbs lost by New Years!

The Depo Shot made me fat and depressed. Literally. I wanted to drive my car into a guardrail. Once I went off it (And I Breastfed until Dylan was 13 months) the weight literally melted away MUCH faster and I felt more like myself! I also started doing Weight Watchers (and you can cheat and not pay...go to FatSecret.com) It helped too to pay attention to what I was eating. I am so pround of you muffin ;-)
I wonder if that's why I've been kind of depressed...hmm...but I am talking with a therapist every couple of weeks to see if we can bust me out of my funk!
Oh, and funny thing, I'm already doing WW :) haha...
Annnnddd...a friend of mine, her breastmilk dried up on the Depo! My has REALLY dwindled...hmm...
I didn't enjoy the Depo either. I put on a little bit of weight, nothing noteworthy. But I did have extremely unpredictable periods.
Oh ya, I tried the Nuvaring for a few months, that was bad.. I had wicked mood swings!
